Squirrel & Sparrow Bookstore are passionate about connecting indie authors with readers. We offer consignment agreements to authors, where your published book is placed with us for an agreed amount of time, and we promote and sell it on your behalf! You are then paid for sold copies, and any remaining stock is returned to you. If this sounds like something that interests you, please fill out the author form below, and we will be in touch!

Note: To help us determine whether your book is a good fit for Squirrel & Sparrow Bookstore and our readers, we ask for a secure preview of your book. This is not a full editorial review, but a way for us to understand the tone, genre, and presentation of your work before agreeing to stock it.

We offer multiple options so you can choose the one you’re most comfortable with:

Preferred options:

✅ Upload a PDF of the first 1 - 3 chapters or an excerpt (for internal review only - never shared publicly).

✅ Upload a book cover image (wrap).

✅ Provide a secure BookFunnel / Kindle preview link or other access link that doesn’t allow unrestricted sharing.

✅ Provide a Google Drive read-only link to a sample chapter or excerpt.

We are happy to work with you if you use BookFunnel, Kindle gifting, or similar services - many of our authors prefer these as secure ways to share advance copies.
